Our little family is getting a little bigger!

WELCOME to the Hoffman Family blog.  We are hoping it will be easier for us to stay on top of if we have the whole family to write about.  Personally I will have to make a big effort considering Gus is still with Santa on his blog :-)  We thought it would be more enjoyable to read as well if we could share a little about all of us!  So....here we go...

Well our family is growing!  We are expecting a new little one on 2/21/11!  Very exciting!  It is the size of a grape right now.  We will be 10 weeks along on Monday 7/26/10.  Wow I can't believe it - two kids...I really hope we know what we are doing.

Our Lil'Punkin
We have been enjoying the summer with Gus and all that he is learning everyday. He is mostly walking these days and talking up a storm in some language that doesn't really sound like English but he sure thinks it does.  He loves Mac'n'Cheese...he is our son after all!!!  Gus and Rudy (our dog) play very well together and Jazzmin (our cat) is interested but keeps a good distance from Gus since he tends to be a little rough with her.  Gus has a very strong interest in musical instruments...we are going to have to hit Uncle Ryan up for some drum lessons soon I am sure.  Most of all though he makes us laugh and warms our hearts more then we could have ever imagined.
Gus and I at breakfast one morning.  Very dirty bib but very big smile!!!

Gus and Daddy at Gus' 1st Birthday Party.  Crazy rain storm to start the day but it ended with lots of fun for everyone!

Gus feeding Uncle Ryan part of his birthday cake.  Such a nice kiddo!  Yum Yum Uncle Ryan!!!  Green icing looks good on you!
Happy Birthday Gus!!!

Gus with Great Grandpa.  It has been fun going to visit Great Grandpa and Great Grandma on the weekends and play with who know what we find around the house!

Grandma and Gus playing with coasters at the Great Grandparents.  Funny face Gus!
We have a lot more pictures to upload I just have to take the time to do it.  Thanks Mom for sending me yours to get motivated!!!

Quentin and I are still working hard everyday but enjoy our weekends and look forward to them just as much as the next person.  We are extremley happy that we have been blessed with the amazing opportunity to raise another baby and talk about the awesomeness of it daily.  We have been working hard on the outside of our house hoping to get the grass green and lush so Gus can run around in it.  We plan on painting our house this fall.  We haven't chosen the color yet but I'll post a before and after picture!  The winter will bring more renovations on the inside especially with moving Gus to the guest room and sprucing up the nursery for Baby #2!  Well I think this is a good start and hopefully we will stay on top of things this time.  Enjoy reading and please post comments if you have any we would love to hear from you!
